It is a hands on, technically focused position working directly with production engineers, machinists, and manufacturing leaders to ensure equipment is installed correctly, optimised properly, and delivering the performance customers expect.

If you enjoy solving real machining challenges, working closely with customers, and seeing the results of your expertise on the shop floor, this is worth your attention.

Why This Role Is Attractive

You will:

• Work with advanced tooling and machine technologies used in demanding machining environments
• Play a key role in machine installations, commissioning, and optimisation
• Provide hands on training to engineers and operators
• Become the trusted technical expert supporting both customers and the sales team
• Travel across the UK and Ireland visiting a wide variety of manufacturing environments
• Receive international product training with a leading engineering organisation

This role suits someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, solving problems, and working directly with customers.

The Business

Our client is a premium European market leader in high precision tool holding and a global specialist in shrinking, balancing, and presetting technology for the metal cutting industry.

Their products are used by manufacturers where machining precision, balance, and reliability are critical to production performance.

With a strong reputation for engineering quality and customer support, they work closely with high end manufacturers across a wide range of industries.

What You Will Be Doing

In this position, you will be responsible for the full premium product portfolio, with a strong focus on machine installations, customer training, and pre-sales and after-sales support. Your responsibilities will also include handling technical sales enquiries, providing technical customer support both remotely and on site, carrying out machine installations at customer premises, and supporting the sales team with technical expertise.

What You Bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar technical background preferred
• Strong understanding of machine tools and cutting tool applications
• Experience with machine installations, training, or application support
• Confidence working directly with customers in manufacturing environments
• Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable travelling throughout the North UK and Ireland

The Opportunity

This is a technically focused role within a premium engineering organisation known for precision and quality.

You will develop deep product expertise, work closely with advanced manufacturing environments, and become a key technical resource supporting customers across the UK and Ireland.

If you enjoy hands on engineering, customer interaction, and solving real machining challenges, this is worth a conversation.
