Your Role:
As Site Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing all operational and strategic activities at our state-of-the-art facility. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team spanning Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR, ensuring seamless coordination with our global functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership, aligning site objectives with corporate goals.
- Oversee manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and safety functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to aerospace regulations including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other industry standards.
- Manage site budgeting, financial targets, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and high performance across the site.
- Serve as the primary site representative for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and execute workforce planning and leadership development strategies to retain top talent.
- Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard business continuity and operational resilience.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ leadership experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in site leadership, operational management, and strategic execution.
- Deep understanding of mission-critical safety systems and aerospace industry regulations.
- Experience in a matrix organisation, managing direct and indirect reporting structures.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, budgets, and cost control.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A visionary leader who can inspire cross-functional teams and drive innovation.
