Steel Welder | Location: Widnes
We are seeking a skilled Steel Welder experienced in TIG and MAG Solidwire welding. The role involves producing multi-layer fillet welds and full penetration V butt welds to meet NDT standards. Familiarity with BS EN ISO1090-2 structural steel welding, welding symbols, and procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld components according to drawings, layouts, and work orders
Deliver welds that meet quality and safety standards
Follow welding procedures and comply with drug and alcohol policies
Complete practical fabrication tasks during the interview process
Work Schedule:
38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–14:30, with overtime opportunities
