The Company

MTS Ltd is a dynamic exam services company and online language school. We are experts in the growing fields of computer-based testing and remote proctoring.

The Position

We are looking for 8 new invigilators to help administer IELTS exams on Saturdays at our Bradford test venue. It is a busy environment and can be a stressful day for our test takers, so this role will suit people who are calm and approachable, with a good sense of humour.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible part-time weekend work. On average, invigilators work 2 or 3 days each month.

Invigilators report to the Chief Invigilator, who coordinates the tests during the day.

Job Description

• Preparing the room, i.e. putting up clocks, start and finish time notices, and seating plans.
• Registering test-takers as they arrive.
• Admitting test-takers to the exam room in a quiet and orderly way.
• Conducting the exam according to the regulations of the exam provider
• Being constantly vigilant to ensure exam regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Returning all confidential materials to the Exams Officer at the end of the test.
• Commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of our test takers.

Person Specification

• Good command of the English language.
• IT literate and with a good eye for detail.
• Great customer service skills.
• Willingness to undertake training.
• Punctual and reliable.
