Design and scale high-performance Golang microservices that power AI-driven candidate assessments, connect with LLMs, and integrate seamlessly with ATS platforms. You’ll own performance, scalability, and architectural decisions for systems that impact thousands of recruiters and candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build Golang Microservices – Design and maintain backend systems that are scalable, testable, and efficient.
- Optimize Performance – Improve response times, reduce costs, and keep latency low under real-world load.
- Integrate AI – Work on services that communicate with LLMs like OpenAI and Gemini, and power intelligent candidate scoring.
- Support ATS Workflows – Build services that connect Mokka with external ATS systems and recruiter-facing tools.
- Ship & Improve – Monitor performance, fix bugs, and continuously enhance existing systems.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Golang
- Strong experience with microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, and message brokers
- Deep understanding of performance optimization and distributed systems
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Familiarity with LLM-powered applications and AI development tools (e.g., Devin, Cursor) is a plus
- Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization
- Startup experience preferred — you’re autonomous, pragmatic, and thrive in ambiguity
