As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, while maintaining compliance with all payroll regulations.

Role Overview:
The Payroll Clerk will manage payroll processes, address payroll-related queries, and ensure all financial records are accurate. You will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and contributing to the efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax information, benefits, and deductions.
  • Calculate and verify overtime, bonuses, and other variable payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements, including tax codes, pensions, and statutory deductions.
  • Address employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll and benefits administration.
  • Assist with audits and provide payroll data as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or a related finance role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems, tax codes, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • A payroll certification (e.g., CIPP qualification) is desirable but not essential.
