We are currently seeking an experienced Proposals Coordinator for a 12-month fixed term contract.
A great deal of our business depends on making the right impression at the pre-qualification/bid stage of the contract tendering process. We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator to be based within our Glasgow office to support this process.
The successful candidate will work alongside the existing proposals team to co-ordinate a wide range of information needed in a PQQ/Tender document, ensuring the contents are accurate and consistently well presented in design and content.
Experience / Background
Previous experience is preferred but the ability to write engaging content and is essential. Working well under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment is vital, as is the ability to interact with internal and external clients to deliver results. Construction experience is desirable.
Personal Attributes
We are seeking a candidate that can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact whilst driving improvements and efficiencies into our existing proposal response process.
You must be confident at communicating at all levels, with exceptionally good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) or similar packages together with the ability to customise written responses will be advantageous. The role may require minimal travelling between our other offices (Edinburgh, Leeds and Warrington).
This is a challenging opportunity for the right individual, as the Proposal Coordinator will need to support
and collaborate with various parts of the business between business development and operations. As a member of the business development team this role will gain clear insight and access into where the business is headed and will act as a key member of the business development process.
