Key Responsibilities
- Drive membership and training sales by engaging with prospective members/clients daily.
- Conduct outreach through calls and video meetings, maintaining a high level of engagement (minimum of 60 outbound calls and 15+ meaningful conversations per day).
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, identifying and converting leads into paying customers.
- Leverage marketing-generated leads and proactively generate new business opportunities.
- Utilise consultative selling techniques to understand the needs of prospective members and provide tailored solutions.
- Effectively manage CRM and outreach databases, ensuring accurate records and follow-ups.
- Achieve and exceed sales KPIs, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and member retention.
- Foster strong relationships with senior business leaders, corporate partners, and prospective clients.
- Communicate NEDonBoard’s clear market differentiation, emphasising its 10-year proven track record, high-quality network, and ethical standards compared to competitors.
- Position NEDonBoard as the go-to destination for board members seeking trusted, high-value professional development and networking.
- Collaborate with internal teams, providing feedback to improve products, services, and sales strategies.
- Champion NEDonBoard’s mission and values, representing the organisation professionally in all interactions.

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven sales experience, ideally in membership organisations, professional training, or executive education.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Experience selling to senior executives, board members, or corporate decision-makers.
- Ability to close deals through consultative selling, demonstrating value over price.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and a data-driven approach to sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Understanding of the UK corporate governance and boardroom landscape.
- Experience in selling to professional associations, finance, or legal sectors.
- Knowledge of online course sales and digital marketing to enhance outreach effectiveness.
- Prior sales experience in executive education or professional membership bodies.
