Smart Contract Developer, Blockchain Interoperability (EVM) at Nervos Foundation

The Nervos Network is a new blockchain protocol and application platform that aims to empower developers to build truly open, decentralized and scalable applications. 

Nervos is designed as a layered blockchain stack.  The layer 1, the Common Knowledge Base (CKB) is a public blockchain designed to uphold the security, immutability and permissionless nature of Bitcoin while enabling smart contracts with a RISC-V virtual machine. On top of the layer 1, we build a variety of interoperable scaling solutions (rollups, sidechains and application chains) to provide the best developer experience.

About the role: 

We’re looking for experienced smart contract developers to join our interoperability solutions team. In this team, we focus on building the infrastructure, protocols and products to bring blockchains togetherr. If you’re interested in building and working with bridges, cross-chain liquidity protocols, cross chain message passing, composability solutions and tooling, we’d love to talk to you about this opportunity. 

Qualifications: 

• Solid and all-round software engineering experience; strong background in cryptography or distributed systems preferred
• Strong experience and skills with the EVM stack, in particular smart contract architecture, design and implementations
• Strong experience in smart contract testing frameworks and methodologies
• Good knowledge and understanding of typical protocol design patterns for Defi, NFTs etc. 
• Good knowledge of smart contract development processes and best practices. 
• Strong communication skills in English
