About the role

- Impact our users everyday by shipping features multiple times a day.

- Get to design and build large scale systems from ground up for a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Use GPT/Mixtral models to develop chatbots and datasets from Public data.
- Build cutting-edge cloud-native infrastructure - real-time streaming engines (Apache Spark or similar), Scraping engines, Databases (BigQuery, Postgres or similar), and Analytics engines on top of Google Cloud Platform using Open source software.
- Deliver frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available that abstract away infrastructure complexity.
- Optimize existing systems/services to improve performance and efficiency.
- Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices.
- Work with other talented and friendly infrastructure engineers to build the foundation for Lifesciences data advancements over the next decade.
Requirements:
- You are an expert-level engineer with Python.
- 4-8 years of professional experience in a Backend Infrastructure role.
- A passion for AI and a good understanding of Python/Pandas/SQL.
- The ability to work proactively and collaboratively with the various people and teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Work with a globally distributed team of Engineers.
