Job Title: Kitchen Ventilation Sales Engineer - KITCHEN HVAC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!

Department: Sales

Reports To: President

Salary: $70,000-$160,000+ (based on experience) includes bonus/commission.

Travel: 25-30% Travel within Southern California, LA / OC / San Bernardino.

Our products in this market range from kitchen hoods, exhaust fans, dedicated make-up air, packaged rooftop units, controls, variable volume systems, fire suppression, utility distribution, and more.

Join our innovative team of cutting-edge thinkers as we design and supply new types of kitchen ventilation systems for restaurants and other critical food service operations.

General responsibilities include:

• Knowledge and experience selling HVAC Kitchen Ventilation System products is desired while ensuring customer satisfaction resulting in repeat business.

• Deliver successful collaborative presentations highlighting NSWC products and service capabilities throughout our territory.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required

• Equipment system start-up and troubleshooting experience are pluses.

• Building management systems and controls experience are pluses.

• Sell, promote, and market HVAC and commercial Kitchen Ventilation equipment to architects, engineers, contractors and owners/developors.

• Provide technical and application assistance in order to influence design and specification requirements.

• Develop and manage sales plans to increase sales effectiveness.

• Develop new business along with maintaining and further developing existing business partners.

• Proactively seek out purchasing decision makers and develop solid business relationships

• Effectively engage and assist in negotiating contract terms with customers.

• Promote Facility/Corporate visits with strategically important customers and business partners.

• Attend trade shows, product shows, and industry functions as required to keep informed on activities and changes in the Kitchen Ventilation marketplace.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred

• Professional background in either mechanical engineering or outside sales desired

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required

• Must be willing to work with a high degree of autonomy

• AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software experience desired

• Analytical ability required

• HVAC experience desired
