We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to oversee our company’s computer systems. In this role, you will design hardware configurations, install software, manage network systems, and train staff on proper operating procedures.
To be successful as an IT Engineer, you should have substantial experience in managing large-scale computer systems, strong project management skills, and excellent troubleshooting abilities. Ultimately, an exceptional IT Engineer will be able to create and maintain a dynamic, stable system that meets the company's needs.
IT Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the IT Manager to determine system requirements.
- Designing and setting up computer hardware configurations.
- Installing software and network systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving network and software issues.
- Implementing advanced software security measures.
- Training staff on new hardware and software systems.
- Addressing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
- Handling general IT support requests.
- Keeping security software current and up to date.
- Preparing monthly reports for the IT Manager.
IT Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of computer hardware systems.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, enterprise software, programming languages, and office applications.
- Knowledge of LAN and wireless networking.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex software and hardware issues.
- Understanding of database and network security systems.
