About the Role
We’re hiring a People Operations Manager to lead and scale the People function for this growing consumer brand. You’ll manage a small team, run end-to-end HR operations, and work closely with senior leadership to tackle challenges across hiring, performance, engagement, structure, and retention.
This role suits someone who’s structured but flexible, data-informed but human-centered — and thrives in fast-paced, diverse environments.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and optimize core People Ops functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance, offboarding
- Manage and coach a 2–4 person team (Talent Acquisition, HR Ops, Facilities)
- Build and maintain scalable HR processes (policies, payroll, compliance, reporting)
- Keep internal policies up-to-date, practical, and legally sound
- Partner with hiring managers across different functions (creative, tech, operations, warehouse)
- Solve people problems before they grow — present clear, data-backed insights
- Strengthen engagement across hybrid teams with different work styles
- Support managers in building high-performing, well-retained teams
- Contribute to a values-driven scale-up journey
Who You Are
- 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years leading a team
- Confident in both strategy and execution — from team coaching to policy creation
- Skilled in performance systems, hiring, engagement, and people process design
- Solid business acumen — you understand trade-offs and resource constraints
- Analytical — quick to spot patterns and address root causes
- Strong communicator — you influence with clarity
- Comfortable working across levels — from ground staff to C-suite
- Bonus: Experience in consumer, retail, e-commerce, or logistics-heavy environments
