With 3 locations in Barcelona, Spain we are very excited to expand to Preston and offer our services in a city that is growing as an important business and startup hub for the UK.
We’re offering a full time position as an Operations Manager to join our team and help us in creating an incredible environment for our members, oversee the day-to-day building operations in our beautiful new location and to be the face of OneCoWork Preston.
The opportunity
We’re looking for someone who has the experience and aptitude to manage the day to day running of the centre, focusing on exceptional customer service. You’ll need to be an accomplished multitasker, able to pre-empt issues before they become problems, and keep a team motivated and focused on service excellence.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company sales strategy and targets. You will have the ability to coach those around you into a successful sales and operations mindset.
You will have experience in sales and complex contract negotiations; be a story-teller who can help potential clients understand the value OneCoWork brings; and you will need to be a true team player, with clear experience and a successful track-record managing a team.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the overall operations of the space, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and member satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative community environment.
Financial Management:
- Manage and optimise the profitability of the space by controlling costs and maximising revenue streams.
- Monitor and analyse financial reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
Sales and CRM:
- Utilise sales skills to drive membership growth and retention.
- Implement effective customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to enhance member satisfaction and engagement while taking full responsibility for data entry into the CRM.
- Collaborate with the organisational sales and marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of community managers and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with internal teams, members, and external partners.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and integration of services.
Adaptability and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance the · coworking experience.
- Adapt to changing business needs and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role, with strong references attesting to leadership capabilities.
- Background in real estate management, hospitality, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems and make sound decisions.
