WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Outgive is looking for a full-time Editor for our content writing department to edit, proofread, and enhance our written content for various brands. The job requires an expert level of English, the ability to perform research on various topics, and the ability to learn independently. Candidates must also be self-organized and meet strict deadlines.
BASIC REQUIREMENT:
- English Language skills: native level and/or language degree holder.
- Able to edit 800 - 1000 words per hour.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to communicate ideas and thoughts in an organized manner.
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM:
- Edit, proofread, and improve all written content
- Ensure content adheres to ours as well as client style guidelines.
- Ensure grammar, punctuation, and content are correct.
- Make sure the clarity and quality of the content are engaging and informative.
- Ensure we meet all deadlines
NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET:
- E-commerce experience, marketing experience, background in written content
WORK HOURS: 8 hours a day or 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9AM - 1PM EST (9PM - 1AM PHT), with a flexible schedule for the remaining 4 hours of your shift.
