WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 


Unloop is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the Accounts Payable function of our eCommerce clients. This person will work alongside the Philippines/Toronto-based accounting team to consistently ensure clients' bills are paid on time and customer success is achieved.

Unloop is on a mission to become the authority in Ecommerce Accounting. We are the first and only bookkeeper exclusively servicing eCommerce businesses in the US and Canada. With the power of people and technology, our firm dives deep into COGS and inventory accounting. Clients are paired with a dedicated bookkeeper in Slack that provides historical financial reports along with receipt management and monthly statements. Unloop makes tax time a breeze and everything is organized and ready to go at year-end.

 

 

YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM:

  • Manage bill.com inbox for multiple entities. Code 50+ daily vouchers and route for approval to sync with QBO/Xero
  • Will process payables via etransfer, Cash Pro, Plooto and Wise
  • Match credit card/expense report transactions and code for project and GL accuracy to post in QBO/Xero
  • Maintain accurate logs of communication with vendors regarding the status of their payment
  • Communicate with the finance department to maintain accurate and updated information on vendor accounts and payments
  • Review vendor accounts for accuracy and handle disputes to make sure that account information is entered and maintained appropriately
  • Reconcile vendor ledgers to the AP ledger in QBO/Xero
  • Will organize the AP invoices

 

WORK HOURS: 8 hours a day or 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9AM - 1PM EST (10PM - 2AM PHT), with a flexible schedule for the remaining 4 hours of your shift.

 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with General ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable (1-year minimum)
  • Customer Service (1-year minimum)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Google Workspace
  • QuickBooks Online, Xero Bill.com and Plooto knowledge REQUIRED or willing to learn
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with an eye for detail, and accuracy is imperative
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to relate well with a variety of personality types
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET:

  • Previous experience paying bills for a caseload of clients
