Commercial Manager – Convenience & Travel
Location: UK-based | Hybrid working
Base Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per year
The Role:
We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to take full ownership of our fast-growing Convenience and Travel channels. You’ll be responsible for managing existing relationships, building new ones, and driving commercial performance across key accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who’s worked in FMCG and knows the Convenience and Travel space inside out. If you enjoy combining data, strategy, and relationship-building to drive results — this could be for you.
You’ll report to the Impulse Controller and work closely with other teams to bring our category vision to life in stores nationwide.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and grow our Convenience & Travel accounts.
You’ll take charge of a group of existing customers — including forecourts, travel hubs, and high-footfall convenience retailers — and be responsible for growing revenue and profit in these accounts. - Build great relationships with key buyers.
You’ll work closely with your customers to develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) — aligning on things like promotions, pricing, distribution, and in-store visibility to help both sides grow. - Win new business.
You’ll identify gaps in our current distribution and go after new opportunities — pitching the brand, building relationships, and negotiating deals to get us on more shelves in more places. - Handle the numbers.
You’ll lead the forecasting and budgeting for your channel — tracking performance, making sure targets are met, and adjusting plans where needed to stay on course. - Work closely with the wider team.
You’ll collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly — from launching promotions to ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. - Be the voice of your customers.
You’ll bring real-world insight from your retailers back into the business, helping shape commercial strategies, marketing plans, and future product development.
