We're a Space-Tech company with teams in Ahmedabad, California and Bangalore on a mission to build the world's largest constellation of Synthetic Aperture Radar and AIS satellites for comprehensive ocean surveillance. - You will be a part Earth Observation Satellite Payload Development Team
- You will Design, develop, and test embedded hardware systems for space applications.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to verify the performance and reliability of hardware designs.
- Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware performance and compliance with space standards.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document design specifications, test results, and technical reports.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC).
- Understanding of electronic components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, etc.
- Familiarity with circuit theory, Ohm’s law, voltage, current, resistance, and power calculations.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware components like memory, clocks, timers, and interrupts.
- Familiarity with simulation tools like Proteus, Multisim, or LTSpice.
- Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and validating hardware designs.
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronic testing equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Critical thinking to identify the root cause of issues and find efficient solutions.
- Ability to document designs, schematics, and test results effectively.
- Clear communication skills to explain design decisions, test results, and troubleshooting steps
- Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with other hardware engineers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to discuss ideas and share findings.
