A lovely couple (with 2 children living at home – 13 and 16 years old) are looking for a reliable Part Time Live-out Housekeeper to help them manage the upkeep of their beautiful small estate. The role is primarily hands-on housekeeping with some additional driving, and pet care.
Both principals work 3 days in London, but the Head Housekeeper would always be on-site for direction. We are looking for an all-rounder, someone who is friendly, dependable and proactive - who takes pride in their work.

JOBHOLDER REPORTS TO: Head Housekeeper
LOCATION: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
TERM: Part-time (3 days per week – 10am to 3pm);
Preferably Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays

MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is achieved throughout the estate, including that the immediate outside areas are neat and tidy on a daily basis (such as pool areas etc.)
- All types of cleaning and tidying – bathrooms, bedrooms & living areas.
- Ensuring that any rubbish is discarded properly.
- Making of beds as required, taking care of turning around guest accommodation.
- Filling & replenishing supplies such as toilet tissue, soap etc.
- Ironing & washing, loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Cleaning of on-site rental property when vacant.
- Reporting any maintenance problems to Head Housekeeper.
- Accepting deliveries to the property.
- Cross-country dog walking & animal cleaning out/care (1 dog & 2 rabbits)
- Running errands including collecting dry cleaning, post office runs & others (vehicle available).
- Occasional help with special events.
- Other ad hoc duties as directed and which might reasonably be regarded as within the nature, responsibilities and grade of this post, and as directed by the Head Housekeeper.
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED BY JOB HOLDER:
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK driving license.
- DBS check at offer stage + 2 references.
- Have good attention to detail & high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work on own initiative and juggling priorities.
- Utmost confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management and conscientiousness.
- Please note there is a physical aspect to this role – as the job will include some lifting, and working across multiple levels.
