To support our growth, they are actively seeking talented individuals to join their team in a variety of operational, specialist, and technical roles. One such opportunity is the Control Systems Engineer position. 

 

As an Control Systems Engineer , you will be responsible for the design and develop electrical and electronic systems for the production of high speed weaving machinery.

Control System Engineer - Responsibilities include:

  • Electrical and control system design for current and future machinery
  • Design, implementation and fault finding of Codesys PLC and ladder logic
  • Design and fault finding on Multi Axis Motion Control
  • Ladder logic fault finding
  • Manage suppliers and part lists, including design change and obsolescence
  • Project manage and support electrical machine build, commissioning and installation
  • Produce assembly procedures/job sheets for others to follow

 

Control System Engineer - Desirables include:

  • Degree qualified in electronics, control, automation, PLC programming or similar
  • Experience within the design, development, build, commissioning and support of special purpose machinery.
  • Proven design capability in electrical and control systems.
  • AutoCAD , Solid works or Promis.E electrical drawing experience
  • PLC / ladder logic development within an automation environment
  • Experience of installation and commissioning of electrical systems
  • New product development following a Stage Gate or similar process
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an ISO 9001 environment
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices

 

Schedule- Monday-Friday 37 hours per week, early finish Friday
