Engineering Maintenance Manager- Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and conducting general maintenance
- Repairing equipment
- Responding to breakdowns
- Fault diagnosis through real-root-cause problem solving.
- Working with the operations management team to prioritise maintenance tasks
- Ensure all administration tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Leading and supervising engineering staff
- Controlling working hours / timecards
- Technical and personal development of all team members
- Ensuring that all employees involved in maintenance activities follow safe and efficient working practices.
- Recruitment and effective onboarding
- Supply ecosystem
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure all materials and services are provided out correctly and efficiently.
- Facility responsibility
- Remedial works as necessary
- Site improvement works through the onsite team and contractors
Engineering Maintenance Manager- Requirements include:
- Strong management ability
- Flexible, tenacious, and diligent approach
- Confidence and courage to drive change
- Ability to manage own time and priorities efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Hands-on experience in solving problems of all types through structured methods
- Ideally a good engineering knowledge of PLCs, heavy extrusion and moulding equipment, and site facilities equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in person and in writing
- Strong computer skills, particularly word and excel.
- Experienced in a hands-on maintenance role within a mechanically orientated factory environment.
Schedule- Monday-Friday 40 Hours
