Mechanical Assembly Fitter- Responsibilities include:
- Work at all times in a manner which gives the highest consideration to safety, as defined by local regulations and Company procedures, this includes the use of PPE.
- Perform project assembly and test work on equipment and systems in accordance with applicable regulatory standards and to cGMP and GAMP guidelines for the pharmaceutical and other related industries.
- Liaise with the Project Engineering function to ensure the effective interpretation of project requirements, communication, timing, testing, and completion.
- Understand requirements for Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Isolator Systems and their construction in order to maintain and hold pressure, airflow, and functionality suitable for its application.
- Interpret and mark-up as required GA, P&ID's and detailed manufacturing drawings to required standards. Understand the mechanical hardware specification and Functional Design Specification for a client project.
- Utilize project support documents during equipment and system assembly & test, including Traceability Matrices, Engineering Design Calculations, Bills of Materials, Test and Validation Protocols, Operating, Maintenance and Safety Manuals and work instructions for production and contractor functions.
- Capable of troubleshooting complex process systems, fans, pumps, control valves, instrumentation, electrical and control systems, including systems with PLC control and HMIs.
- Provide assembly support for process equipment in the factory, ensuring the highest levels of quality.
Mechanical Assembly Fitter- Desirables include:
- Proficient in comprehending equipment writing and piping schematics.
- Skilled in interpreting 2D drawings depicting equipment layout.
- Capable of utilizing test equipment for precise measurement and calibration purposes.
- Experienced in effectively supervising and guiding external contractors during installation processes.
- Well-versed in reading technical drawings.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving issues in electrical panels, circuitry, and pneumatics.
- Knowledgeable in testing, flow, pressure, calibration, and the operation of equipment.
Schedule- Monday-Friday 37.5 Hours
