Senior Automation Engineer- 

 

Senior Automation Engineer. Do you have between 5 - 10 years’ experience as an Automation Engineer? They have a rare space for a Senior Automation Engineer to join them on a permanent basis due to expansion plans.

Senior Automation Engineer - Responsibilities:

  • -Lead Automation Design Projects
  • -Design and test control systems: PLC, Scada, Robotics
  • -Produce specifications, plans and cost analysis
  • -Produce appropriate documentation for proposals and customer document packs

 

 

Senior Automation Engineer skills/experience desired:

  • Experience with Kuka robotic systems.
  • Experience with Beckhoff and/or Omron PLCs but is open to other systems.
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Expertise programming PLCs to an advanced level, producing high quality, well formatted programs
  • Control Panel Design, Electrical drawings, and Bills of Materials
  • A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this to practical problems
  • An understanding in electrical principles and DC circuits
  • Experience of producing high quality, well formatted programs. Our projects can be based on a variety of PLC platforms requiring strong ladder and structured text programming skills
  • Hands on experience of assembly and test of automated solutions
  • Passport and driving license. Willingness to travel occasionally.

 

Hours of Work: 37.5
