Job Objective:
Lead the definition, delivery, and ongoing support of corporate applications and development capabilities across LATAM, ensuring Finance, People & Culture, and Legal needs are met. Serve as IT lead for SAP implementation activities, oversee Level 2 support for legacy systems, and drive simplification toward a resilient digital core.
Champion consistent development practices, governance, and value delivery to enable efficient, secure corporate operations region-wide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP implementation support and coordinate functional/technical activities for Finance, P&C and Legal
- Manage Level 2 support for legacy corporate applications across LATAM (Including Mexico CFDI)
- Oversee development PODs and application delivery for corporate capabilities
- Drive application modernization and simplify digital core landscape
- Ensure alignment with central IT architecture, security and compliance standards
- Stakeholder engagement and business relationship management.
- Governance, change and release management for corporate applications
- Vendor and contract management for application development and support
- Cost control and budgeting for LATAM corporate application portfolio
- Team development and capability growth for development and support staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 10+ years in IT application development and support roles
- 5+ years managing teams in multinational environments.
- Experience leading application programs supporting Finance, HR/P&C and Legal functions.
- Experience with SAP implementations (functional/technical coordination) and cutover activities.
- Proven background in Level 2/3 support models for legacy enterprise applications.
- Track record managing cross-country delivery in LATAM or similar multi-country regions.
- Experience building and supervising development PODs/teams and vendor-managed resources.
- Strong stakeholder management with business process owners, regional leads and central IT.
- Strong knowledge with agile delivery, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with IT governance, incident/change/problem management and SLA frameworks.
- Budgeting, vendor contracting and service management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize technical debt, modernization and business requests.
- Fluent in English / Advanced
Specific Knowledge:
- Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to Finance, HR/P&C (e.g., FI/CO, HCM/SuccessFactors) and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of corporate application landscapes, ERPs, payroll, Mexico CFDI and tax/localization considerations in LATAM.
- Experience with legacy application support, troubleshooting, and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with integration middleware, APIs, batch processes and data synchronization.
- Knowledge of secure application development practices, identity and access management.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure) and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with modern development stacks, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, automated testing and release management.
- Basic knowledge of data governance, master data management and reporting/BI needs for corporate functions.
- Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements for HR, Finance and Legal across LATAM.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira Service Management) and incident management workflows.
- Awareness of cost optimization and license management best practices.

Modality: Full-time, 100% payroll, Hybrid in Mexico City (3 days on site, 2 days home office)
Salary: $90,000 a $106,000 MXN gross monthly
