Business Developer Blockchain/Crypto Financial Industry (Fully remote) at Request Network

Request Network is an open-source protocol that powers applications like Request Finance, Huma Finance, BSOS, and Joba Network. Request Network has processed more than $500 million in volume, and our builders serve leading web3 companies like The Sandbox, The Graph, and MakerDAO. 

We are looking for a web3 Business Developer to help us grow our network, onboard new builders, explore new concepts, and add new capabilities to the Request Network protocol.

The individual will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the growing Request ecosystem of users by working hand in hand with web3 influential projects and play an active role in building the backbone of decentralized world trade.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a results-driven and experienced business developer with a background in engineering to expand our builder base and drive builders to our open-source protocol. In this role, you will leverage your engineering knowledge to identify opportunities, build relationships with our builders, and facilitate the growth of Request Network. You will understand the builder's needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals to achieve our growth targets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Generation:
  • Identify and nurture sales leads through various channels, including networking, SoMe, industry events, referrals, and online research.
  • Develop a lead scoring system and update it according to our strategy. 
• Pre-Sales Process Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closing.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools for tracking and reporting.
• Proposal and Presentation:
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
• Builder Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our builders.
  • Understand builders' needs and challenges, offering consultative solutions together with the development team.
• Market Research:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Reporting:
  • Continuously monitor the progress of leads in the pipeline.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the team
• Feedback and Improvement:
  • Gather feedback from builders to improve our processes and the value we deliver to them.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the financial or web3 industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of CRM software (e.g. HubSpot is a plus).
• Knowledge of Web3(DeFi is a plus).
• Knowledge in finance.
