RotaCloud is a growth stage technology company based in the centre of York, providing employee scheduling software to thousands of businesses across the UK and worldwide.
At RotaCloud we’re building a market-leading product and need someone to help us tell the world about it. We’re on the lookout for a commercially-minded, revenue-driven marketer to lead and grow a multi-functional marketing team and to support company growth targets. You’ll work closely with the company's founders to plan and execute marketing campaigns and strategies to raise brand awareness, increase customer loyalty, and build a brand that people love.
We are a small team – currently 4 people. You'll line manage 3 people and work closely with one of the founders. As well building out and leading the team, you'll need to get stuck in and be hands on with project work.
The main KPI for this role will be qualified inbound free trials.
What we're looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in management roles with a proven success record of building and running high performing marketing teams.
- Proactivity. You’ll never need to be told what to do – always taking responsibility and showing initiative.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- A good all-rounder with lots of experience in content marketing (including video production, podcasts and webinars), SEO and building a market leading brand.
- Experience with PPC and paid social.
- A strong understanding of unit economics.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent presentation skills.
- An understanding of marketing across the entire customer lifecycle.
- An enthusiasm for getting ‘in the trenches’ and being hands-on, as well as working in a leadership role.
- A good leader with the ability to get the best out of people and help them achieve their goals.
- Experience or understanding of the SaaS business model.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and driving the overall marketing strategy for RotaCloud
- Defining/refining the brand and shaping our tone and personality
- Ensuring our positioning and messaging is strong and consistent across all channels
- Delivering an efficient marketing operation, with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, outputs and targets
- Department growth and team career progression
- On-the-ground team support and hands-on delivery of work as needed
- Setting and monitoring goals and targets, and regularly reporting on tracked KPIs
