    Job Summary:

    As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our self-storage facility. You will assist the Store Manager in daily tasks and be responsible for maintaining the facility's cleanliness, assisting customers, and managing rental transactions. Candidates for this position must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of managing the facility, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and their belongings.
  • Greet and assist customers with their storage needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Conduct facility tours, explain storage unit options, and provide accurate rental quotes to potential customers.
  • Handle rental transactions, including processing payments and completing rental agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity and transactions using our computerized system.
  • Resolve customer concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist with delinquent accounts, including sending notices and making collection calls.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the facility is well-maintained and all safety protocols are followed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all company policies, procedures, and services to customers.
  • Act as the Store Manager in their absence.

    Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Previous experience in the self-storage industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
