- Job Title: Assistant Manager at Safeguard Self Storage
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of managing the facility, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and their belongings.
- Greet and assist customers with their storage needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Conduct facility tours, explain storage unit options, and provide accurate rental quotes to potential customers.
- Handle rental transactions, including processing payments and completing rental agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity and transactions using our computerized system.
- Resolve customer concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with delinquent accounts, including sending notices and making collection calls.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the facility is well-maintained and all safety protocols are followed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all company policies, procedures, and services to customers.
- Act as the Store Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience.
- Previous experience in the self-storage industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
