- Position: Assistant Manager - Safeguard Self Storage
- Assisting the Facility Manager in daily tasks such as customer service, sales, and administration
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers
- Conducting facility tours and effectively selling our storage units and ancillary products
- Processing rental payments, managing delinquent accounts, and preparing weekly reports
- Ensuring security protocols are followed at all times
- Assisting with move-ins and move-outs, including unit inspections and cleaning
- Communicating with current and potential customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Contributing to the overall success and growth of the facility through marketing and community outreach efforts
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
- Familiarity with self storage industry is a plus
