Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team on the Nightshift at Samsic UK based in Glasgow G20 0XA. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' premises, ensuring they are ready for the next day's operations. This is an important role as you will play a key part in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and their employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out cleaning duties as per the agreed schedule, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Dusting, mopping, and vacuuming all areas of the premises, including offices, bathrooms, cleanroom environments, and common areas
• Emptying and disposing of waste materials in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner
• Refilling and restocking supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
• Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas, such as door handles, light switches, and handrails
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and using appropriate equipment and cleaning products
• Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients at all times
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in cleaning preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards colleagues and clients
• Willingness to work nights and weekends if required
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality standards of cleanliness and hygiene
