The Cleaning Site Manager will be tasked with overseeing and coordinating all cleaning activities. As an integral part of the Samsic UK team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest cleaning standards, conforming to the company's operational requirements and wellbeing of all team members.

 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00–20:30 (6 hours per day paid), 52-week contract.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To organise, control, and monitor the cleaning services in accordance with all statutory, environmental, and company requirements.
  • Responsible for securing the school premises at the end of the day, including locking doors, windows, and gates.
  • To manage the cleaning team, including training, development, motivation.
  • To maintain a professional dialogue with clients, handling any complaints or concerns swiftly and thoroughly, aiming for a satisfactory resolution that fosters strong, positive relationships.
  • To manage resources and ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment, scheduling repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • To lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering a high quality service.

As an effective Cleaning Site Manager, you will possess a combination of technical skills and personal attributes that support the smooth running of the site's cleaning functions - these are key to achieving the satisfaction of both your team and our clients.

 

Core Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a site manager/supervisor or similar managerial role in the cleaning industry.
  • Applicants must already hold a valid DBS/CRB certificate.
  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • A strong leader with the ability to inspire, motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle client relationships and deal with any issues under pressure.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects.
