We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team in Uxbridge.
The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.
** Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, weekends & bank holidays **
As a Security Officer you will work various shifts covering days & weekends:
· Pay Rate: £12.77 Per hour
· Average Weekly Hours: 4 on 4 off/ 42 hrs pw + Overtime available
· Contracted Hours: 42 hrs pw
· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a smooth running of the day to day operation
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before the arrival of authorities
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security officer or guard
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defence
- Registered as a security officer
- High School diploma is required
