The successful candidate will be responsible in coordinating the companies ESG strategies to help support the overall growth, performance and sustainability of Samsic UK by contributing to the delivery of Samsic UK ESG & Sustainability Strategy and coordinate all the environmental & social impact of its activities.
The Role:
- Create and implement programs to promote sustainability across the Samsic portfolio
- Monitor and report progress towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals
- Encourage sustainable practices to foster a culture of sustainability among employees
- Boost employee involvement in sustainability initiatives, fostering a sense of responsibility and teamwork
- Ensure Samsic meets relevant sustainability certifications and standards
- Structure and organise an ESG Committee across Samsic UK
- Define a roadmap and ESG targets for Samsic UK
- Analyse Samsic UK carbon footprint and define a roadmap to reduce carbon emissions
- Prepare regular reports on ESG activities, compliance audits, and sustainability performance metrics for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental, and governance objectives
Experience and Knowledge:
Desirable
Practical experience in sustainability initiatives, as well as familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards.
Working experience of certifications such as ISO 14001, GRI Standards Certification, B Corp certification, Ecovadis
Minimum Essential
Good understanding of environmental regulations relevant to the FM sector.
Good understanding of the TOMS Framework
Working experience of Waste Management & Legislation
Working experience of Charity committee meetings
