A Receptionist serves as the first point of contact with company guests, visitors, and prospective employees. The position requires exceptional communication abilities, a welcoming demeanor, and top-notch organization skills.
Hours: 9:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. Start date ASAP.
In the role of Receptionist, the principal duties consist of the following:
- Provide front desk coverage, including welcoming visitors, answering calls, and receiving deliveries.
- Manage office and kitchen inventory, ensuring snacks, beverages, and supplies are well-stocked.
- Coordinate and place weekly food and supply orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by wiping surfaces, running dishwashers, and overseeing general tidiness.
- Receive, unpack, and distribute office and kitchen supplies.
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming mail.
- Support overall office upkeep through light tidying and organization.
- Assist with daily lunch service by coordinating deliveries and distributing meals as needed.
- Oversee daily upkeep of coffee and beverage systems.
- Serve as onsite point of contact for vendors, service providers, and property management.
- Light onboarding of new hires and orienting visitors to the office space.
Prospective candidates for the Receptionist role should be prepared to meet the following qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on managing spreadsheets and databases.
- Professional attitude, appearance, and excellent verbal and non-verbal communicative skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer service attitude and ability to interact with various types of personalities.
- Computer savvy
