We are a leading facilities management company, dedicated to providing high-quality and sustainable services to our clients. As a Waste Operative, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission of creating a cleaner and greener world.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting and disposing of waste from designated areas in a timely and efficient manner
• Sorting and segregating different types of waste according to company guidelines
• Operating various waste management equipment, such as compactors and balers
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment at all times
• Washing bins and ensuring their cleanliness
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Participating in training and development sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and responding promptly to any requests or queries
Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of waste segregation and recycling processes is an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects
• Basic numerical and verbal skills to record and report daily activities
Working Hours:
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening shifts as per business needs.
