Secure Self Storage is looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The Paralegal will report to and work directly under the guidance of our on-staff attorney. You will assist in managing and organizing files, reviewing documents, preparing and filing legal documents, and assisting with legal research.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents like wills, contracts, appeals, motions, and agreements.
- Research relevant case law, regulations, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case briefs and advise management appropriately.
- Coordinate law office activities such as subpoena delivery.
- Organize, maintain and update files, databases and reports.
- Filing and retrieving case files, scheduling meetings, coordinating communication between attorneys and clients, as necessary.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and other entities within the legal industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field.
- Previous work experience as a Paralegal is strongly desirable.
- Proficient with office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with learning new tools and applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time.
- Excellent research and report-writing skills, and detailed-oriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminologies, principles, procedures, and research techniques.

$76,000-$89,000 per year
