Description:
This is a Junior to Intermediate level position, partly supported by a more experienced colleague. You will take care of:
- Acquisition and maintenance of hardware and software. Placing hardware and software orders for staff. Selecting the best quality:price from providers.
- Advising staff on the best software/hardware configurations to enhance their productivity and possibly upgrading their systems when necessary.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing software issues (under Windows).
- Assisting teams with version control problems (SVN).
- Regular maintenance of the workstations - cleaning hardware, reinstallations of OS, updates, tools, etc.
- Keeping an up-to-date inventory list. Maintaining a backup reserve.
- Participate in the maintenance of the networking and data infrastructure - switches, hubs, and servers.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of and keen interest in consumer hardware
- Closely familiar with troubleshooting of hardware and software
- Knowledge of Windows workstation administration
- General familiarity with network hardware and network setup (VLANs, VPNs, L2/L3)
- Fluency in Bulgarian and working level of English language
- Passion for computers, ambition to grow as a highly skilled professional
- People skills - reaching justified and satisfactory solutions when communicating with end users. Positive mindset
- Looking for long-term engagement
