We are expanding our development team for a new turn based strategy game and we are looking for an experienced, creative and collaborative programmer.
As a Gameplay Programmer you will take part in the design and implementation of the gameplay systems of our games. These include game rules, vision, navigation, character AI, character abilities and level scripting, synchronising game state between network clients. You will work closely with the game designers and the art team to integrate their work in the game.
This an Intermediate level role, but we are open for more Senior candidates, too. Pay range for Intermediate 1 to Intermediate 3: 4220 BGN net - 5700 BGN net.
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience as an enterprise or product developer or 1 year in game development. Ideally, we are looking for experience with a big, long term project.
- Proficiency in C#, Java or C/C++
- Familiarity with Unity 3D game engine
- Gaming culture, good understanding of the design principles of video games in different genres
- Strong debugging and profiling skills
- Good data structures and algorithm design skills
- Decent knowledge of video game related mathematics (Linear algebra, Analytic Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability and Statistics)
- Good command of the English language
- Team player with excellent work ethics
