- Lead our company's transformation from a largely legacy platform (Dotnet Winforms) to a best-in-class SaaS product offering over the next 5 years
- Build a best-in-industry development team that can deliver on the product roadmap and our company objectives
- Lead tech migration to a modern platform while navigating growth from £10m to £25m in ARR
- Shepherd our company from a custom job shop culture to a product company culture
- Be a key contributor of the executive leadership team
- Assess the team for quality and quantity of output
- Design and deliver a formal technology roadmap
- Meet with customers' technical and non-technical leaders to talk through our company's technical and product roadmap
- Assess and potentially change the structure of the 40+ development team
- Make significant improvements on release management; revamp the testing process and significantly reduce the number of bugs in releases given to customers
- Lead a mentor team and hold the team accountable to performance metrics
Experience
- Experience leading a high-performing engineering team of 40 FTEs or more
- Track record of hiring exceptional developers
- Have taken a company from £10m - £25m in ARR
- Have Successfully led a significant migration (ideally away from Dotnet Winforms) to modern SaaS products (Dotnet Webforms etc.)
- Fleet Management/vehicle leasing/automotive/ERP experience would be a plus
- Private Equity/VC ownership background would be a plus

- Excellent client-facing skills
- Able to work within a strict budget and comfortable with bottom-line considerations (as opposed to growth at all costs)
- Willing to be in the office (Tamworth, West Midlands) 2 days per week
- Willing to travel to customers 2 days per week
Interview Process
- Initial interview with CEO
- Technical interview with technical consultant
- Interview with reportees/other managers
- 45-minute online personality test & follow-up interview with an external advisor
- (Optional - final interview with CEO).
