Maintenance Electrical engineer - Walkers Shortbread at Socially Recruited

Walker’s Shortbread have an excellent opportunity available for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer at our Aberlour site and are seeking to recruit an experienced individual into the full time permanent position.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced time served electrical engineer with a proven track record and knowledge of electrical control systems, motor controls, inverters, PLCs and associated automation controls and systems.

This is a hands-on role working within our fast-moving production and packing environment and you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs in a safe and efficient manner. You will also assist with the installation of new equipment and carry out modification and upgrades as required by the Maintenance Manager and Team leaders.

Walker's Shortbread was established in 1898 and is now owned by third and fourth generation of the Walker family. Both generations work in key roles with the clear intention for the business to remain private and wholly family owned with the fifth generation also now involved.
