As a Frontend Engineer, you will help us build high-impact, well-performing user experiences for our core product. You'll use modern front-end technologies to deliver performant, modular, and maintainable front-end code. The core technologies we use daily include React, Redux*, Typescript, Firebase and general backend api integration.
We're looking for passionate, product-focused people that want to get into the ground-floor of an exciting company in the world of entertainment, sports, commerce and building the next set of web based content creation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to drive the implementation and release of major features.
- Deliver product features on time.
- Write well-tested and well-organized production-quality code, with an emphasis on maintainability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working and shipping front end applications using React, Redux* and Typescript.
- Experience executing within Git and JIRA or any other project management solution.
- Understanding of UI frameworks and how to work with design to get on the same page.
- Be able to communicate effectively. We are a small fast moving team that thrives on being on the same page.
- North American time zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with video and media in the browser. You know the limitations of Safari when it comes to the MediaRecorderAPI.
- Experience with video codecs, transformation and compositing.
- Have an interest in our market which is entertainment, sports, commerce and social media.
- Live in or around the Bay Area so when the pandemic is over we can all go to the Emeryville office.
