We are excited to announce that we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join QubeGB.
The purpose of the job:
Reporting into the Operations Director this is a strategic role within Operations to ensure we have the right resources and capabilities to deliver our commitments and SLA’s.
You will work collaboratively with another Operations Manager and by working off each other’s strengths you will create a rounded role with divided responsibilities.
You will be working closely with other department heads (including within Ops) to have robust and scalable processes and systems in place for the field teams.
We are looking for someone who is able motivate our team to deliver their best and to drive continuous improvement within the company and to help retaining Qube’s competitive advantage of delivering outstanding customer service.
Some of the key responsibilities:
• Be the recognised leader of field operations, embody Qube’s value and culture
• Own the performance of the operation and work with Area Operating Officers to celebrate success and drive corrective action where needed
• Deliver the Operational Strategic Plan (which fits into overall Qube’s strategy) with a road map to outline the actions required to deliver on it. This should include resources – materials, tooling, systems, processes, policy, engineer numbers and skills needed, working with other depts. to deliver
• A clear understanding should be developed of our field capabilities along with a plan to continually improve and working with other departments such as Training to reach these goals.
• Integrate new products and services into field operations; scoping and drawing up solutions with other key stakeholders; analysis performance to ensure we are meeting expectations
• Audit schedule to be completed as per the guidelines
• Mitigation against risks to be presented as the environment changes such as SLA’s or changes to industry standards
•Build strong relations and collaborate with other departmental heads on cross functional initiatives to improve efficiencies or value add to the business under the MQS banner
•Provide technical support to the AOO’s and wider business as needed
•Be an escalation point for AOO’s for all matters arising
•Complete Bi-annual appraisals with AOO’s
Experience required:
•Inspirational leadership style with the ability to sell a vision and deliver against it
• Desire to deliver excellence in customer service and ability to test and improve the customer experience
•Strong skills in planning, logistics, resource management and good understanding of commercial controls
• Minimum three years’ working experience of managing remote teams of significant size at a senior operational level
•Experience within the Telecoms / Utilities industry preferably
•Should possess ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers
