Spring Hill Christian Academy (SHC) serves the K-6 children and families of Spring Hill, Thompson Station and surrounding area in Middle Tennessee. About the Job
We are looking for a part-time School Bus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a bus, following established routes and schedules, and providing excellent customer service.
The buses carry 14 student passengers and are easy to drive.
The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety regulations. The School Bus Driver must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work with passengers of all ages.
Additional hours are available if you are available to help around the facility with general upkeep and maintenance.
A CDL with P and S endorsements is required. A CDL Class B is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the bus.
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the bus.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
- Ensure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts.
- Maintain a log of all trips taken and passengers transported.
- Provide customer service to passengers.
