(Senior) Systems Tests Engineer at Stellar Telecommunications

The Role:

As a Software Engineer focusing on Quality Assurance (QA) within the Stellar team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software modules and architecture meet the highest standards of performance, quality, security, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including development, product, and operations, to deliver top-notch software solutions for the automotive and mobility sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software modules.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks tools and environment to streamline the QA process.
• Conduct performance, security, and regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA best practices and standards.
• Review and provide feedback on software requirements, design documents, operational procedures  to ensure testability and quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, incorporating Agile and DevOps practices. Familiarity with ticketing system like JIRA.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in QA tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience in programming languages such as shell scripting and operating system (Linux, routers, …)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in virtualization and cloud is a plus.

• Bordeaux region (Hybrid work mode, remote work from a home office can be considered)
