We are close to release of India’s most ambitious game Indus, an Indo-futuristic battle Royale built completely in India.
Last year we made and released Battle Stars, a Casual Battle Royale that has been downloaded over 7 Million times and Won Google Play Best Game Made in India.
In the past we have built games like MaskGun (80M users), Silly Royale (20M users), SuperPlatform (live ops engine on which PAC-MAN is built).
We are actively seeking a Concept Artist specialized in Weapons to join our talented concept team to work on our Sandbox/BR Title to collaborate with our team of designers and artists and work on creating detailed and intricate designs for our in-game weapons and weapon skins. As a member of the concept team, you will be working in a small group of collaborative artists, providing concept/designs for assets and solving problems that enhance/support one of the core features of a Battle Royale Loop, Its gunplay. You will also be required to cater to the requirements of the game F2P LiveOps providing Concepts for Weapon skins/Customization alongside the design team.
Responsibilities:
- Create outstanding concept artwork that adheres to and enhances the tone, mood and aesthetic of the product
- Create Weapon concepts including detailed callouts for production-ready asset creation
- Deliver thumbnail sketches, model sheets and full color finished concept art of characters, props and/or environments
- Take art and design requirements and provide creative solutions to challenging briefs
- Match existing style guidelines for established projects
- Collaborate with team members from all disciplines to drive our creative vision forward
Experience & Skills required:
- 3+ years in the industry as an artist contributing to at least 2 shipped games
- Understands fundamental art theory including principles of color, light, materials. Composition
- Expertise with Photoshop is a must. Additional expertise with a 3D software as aid for designs (example Blender/Fusion360 etc.) is a plus
- Keen eye for detail and a strong collaborative mindset towards solving problems
- Portfolio that shows interesting, semi-realistic/stylized weapons, with a strong visual library for hard surface design
- Ability to translate design brief into compelling, desirable, resonating and delightful visual experience
- Experience of working on any shooter games
- Passionate about playing mobile free-to-play games
