At SuperGaming, we are Building India's Gaming Revolution. We build games like MaskGun (90M users), Silly Royale (20M users), SuperPlatform (live ops engine on which PAC-MAN is built) and we have also launched Indus, India's first battle royale game with over 5 Mn downloads so far.
We are seeking a passionate and talented Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines that drive player insights and optimize game performance for our flagship title Indus as we continue to build India’s gaming revolution.
You’ll handle data integration, build robust infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support real-time analytics and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures for real-time and batch processing.
- Develop scalable solutions for collecting, storing, and analyzing large volumes of player and game data.
- Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including gaming servers, analytics tools, and third-party APIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems.
- Work closely with game developers, data analysts, and product teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of data pipelines, schemas, and processes.
Experience & Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in gaming or a tech-driven environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems (e.g., NoSQL, SQL,).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift.
- Knowledge of application development (Firebase preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics with Plotly, Streamlit, Seaborn.
- Good knowledge of enterprise level web app framework like Dash.
- Good knowledge of batch and stream data pipeline.
- Experience with real-time analytics and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of player behavior analytics.
