We are seeking a Senior Technical Artist with a strong foundation in mobile game development to bridge the gap between art and engineering. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing assets, building scalable art pipelines, and ensuring the highest visual quality and performance across mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient art pipelines specific to mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with artists, engineers, and designers to integrate assets into the game.
- Optimize 2D/3D assets for performance and memory constraints of mobile devices.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate and streamline asset workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance or visual issues across different devices.
- Provide technical guidance to artists regarding best practices and limitations.
Experience & Skills required:
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on mobile games.
- Strong proficiency with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, C#, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with DCC tools like Maya, Blender, or Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of real-time rendering, asset optimization, and GPU/CPU performance profiling.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
