We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join our game development team. As a Technical Artist, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing visual elements, tools, and workflows in Unity to enhance the overall quality and performance of our games. You will work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to bridge the gap between artistic vision and technical implementation, ensuring that our games are visually stunning, performant, and meet the desired aesthetic and gameplay goals.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate, set up, and optimize 3D/2D assets and environments in Unity for mobile.
- Develop and maintain efficient art automation scripts, and in-engine tools.
- Design and light key backgrounds, store visuals, and home screens; set up basic cinematics and real-time rendered videos.
- Manage and implement UI elements and FX
- Build, tweak, and optimize shaders, VFX, and particle systems for mobile performance.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to troubleshoot issues and implement creative technical solutions.
Experience & Skills required:
- Unity experience in mobile game development (scene setup, asset pipeline, and optimization).
- Basic scripting (C#, Python).
- Solid grasp of mobile platform constraints, optimization, and profiling.
- Understanding of lighting, composition, materials, and Rendering workflow.
- Grasp of unity UI workflows
- Familiarity with version control (Git, Perforce, or similar)
