In this role, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within the finance team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, organized and have a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing financial reports, including profits & losses, balance sheets, cash flows, budgets, variance analysis and forecasting
• Assisting with journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, accounts payable/receivable and the overall general ledger
• Assisting in the performance of any audit-related activities
• Utilize accounting software to input, manage and analyze financial data
• Respond to questions from internal stakeholders and coworkers
• Share best practices and offer creative solutions to accounting problems
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience with general ledger processing, creating and analyzing financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and intermediate experience with accounting software preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
