Vacation Planner at Tales as Old as Time Travel

Tales as Old as Time Travel is seeking a Vacation Planner/Travel Consultant to join our team of remote professionals. You will be responsible for booking traveling arrangements for new and returning clients, who may be individuals or businesses. Our goal is to provide top-notch customer service and develop an expanding list of clientele.

Responsibilities

• Research destinations and means of travel based so that you can accurately advise the client
• Recommend suitable travel packages based on client specifications and wishes
• Book and reserve travel from start to finish, including accommodations, transportation, and activities
• Collect deposits and payments from clients once travel arrangements have been reserved
• Handle unforeseen problems and cancel or refund travel based on situation
• Maintain relationships with key persons and clientele
• Attend virtual or live trainings and conferences to maintain familiarity with changes in the industry

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer facing position
• Proven experience providing customer oriented support
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Experience with MS Office products is a must
• Well versed in various areas of travel, such as global geography and methods of practical transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• High school diploma is required
