About the role: 

As a DevOps Engineer you’ll be responsible for increasing the velocity of our delivery while ensuring our environments are always up. You’ll design and maintain pipelines that confirms our code is secure while being pushed into production rapidly. We operate in financial services so downtime is not an option. It’ll be your responsibility to ensure we meet our Service Level requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in engineering and product to bring innovative and delightful designs to life. You’ll sweat the details with us and help us ensure the service we deliver is impeccable.


 

About you?

  • You have DevOps experience in cloud based environments.
  • You believe in building secure, observable and reliable environments.
  • You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
  • You have scripting skills in Bash, Python or Go.
  • You have delivered GCP production environments.
  • You have expertise in Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • You have experience with any Service Mesh.
  • You have experience with Cloud Operations and/or other monitoring solutions (Prometheus and Grafana).
  • You have a working knowledge of Google IAM and RBAC for Kubernetes
  • You have experience managing declarative configuration using Terraform.
  • You have experience with Microservices, Messaging, SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • You are flexible, dedicated, and curious.
  • You believe in your craft, but are pragmatic when necessary.
  • You draw inspiration from prior work, but are driven to innovate beyond it.
  • You respectfully challenge your peers, and welcome being challenged.
  • You are passionate about learning, and want to help us learn too.
